1st Annual
Garwick-VanderWiere Camping Trip
What do you get when you combine six adults, one four year old, two golden retrievers, one cocker spaniel, and one German shepherd? Well, besides complete chaos, you arrive at the 1st Annual Camping Trip for the Garwicks and the Vander Wieres! This year we chose to stay at Pokagon State Park in Angola, Indiana.
We arrived on Thursday, set up camp, and enjoyed a fire. Friday the soon-to-be VanderWiere-Dahlinger family joined us and we enjoyed great food and drinks! Megan and Julie built sand castles along the beach, while the rest of us walked around the campground and Scott and I enjoyed beating Dad in Yahtzee once or twice. Connie and Abbie got caught snoozing (see below) and Jeff? Sorry, but the pics that we took of Jeff didn't turn out:-) We still love him anyway, though! All had a great time and we look forward to next year's trip. Check out our pics from this year below:
