Rules of the Classroom

Stop there!  Before you leave this site, please read the rules!  In order to make this class work, we all need to understand a couple of things.  It is to your advantage to understand and follow all of these rules:

1. Bring appropriate materials with you to class.  This includes pen and/or pencil, paper, etc.  If you do forget something, I will provide for you on that day, but don't make a habit of this.  Your final grade could be raised or lowered according to this rule.

2. Wait for all explanations on assignments before you start.  This will benefit both of us, as I won't be distracted and you will hear everything you need to in order to complete an assignment.

3. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.  We are all equal in this classroom; we will share and encourage ideas on ALL assignments and projects.

4. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.  I think this is self-explanatory.

5. Stay in your seat unless you are doing one of the following:

-coming to ask me a question or share an idea

-going to ask a peer a question or share an idea

-posting a web site on the bulletin board

-leaving after you have been dismissed at the end of the class

You can share with a classmate what you did last weekend, but you must share with them an idea for the current project we are working on!  You can throw a piece of paper in the garbage, but you will be forced to share something with either myself or another student!

6. Consider this class your family.  We will all rely on each other the next nine weeks to complete this course.  Love one another!
